What is EMS?

Basically EMS is like a Gym on wheels. It takes just two sessions of 20-25 minutes per week to deliver results – perfect for people who lead busy lives but realise the importance of keeping fit and healthy.

We can visit you at your home or workplace in Central London, North London, North West London and throughout Middlesex. We require very nominal space and you’ll spend only just 20-25 minutes training, or if you’d prefer you can visit us at our Studio in Wembley for your training.

The Scientific bit … 21st century training ~ EMS training

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is the elicitation of muscle contraction using electric impulses and can be used as a training tool and as a beautifying tool. The impulses are generated by a device and delivered through electrodes on the skin directly above the muscles to be stimulated. The impulses cause the muscles to contract, so the result is similar to the actual movement of the muscles.

Positive effects of the EMS technology

  • Save time – As all muscles work simultaneously, you’ll spend only just 20-25 minutes training.
  • Build muscles – The electrodes are placed directly on the body to each important muscle group; so all the impulses reach their target. It’s easy, and you can’t go wrong.

    So muscles get stronger which can lead to the relief of back problems.

  • Relieve joints – The electric impulses work directly on the muscles, there is no pressure on the joints and they are not over worked, as is often the case with weight

  • Balance out the muscular system – The built in electrodes can stimulate and develop all the muscle groups or just selected ones if desired, so the otherwise ’weaker links’ of
    the body can be strengthened.

Why is it important to train muscles?

Previously the training of human muscles was automatic, since the muscle power was need to be used to stay alive. Nowadays we do not need to use our muscles on a daily basis.

Muscles being able to tract are a basic requirement for any kind of move, so they are the core organs of moving. Our activity is gradually reduced to the movement of our body parts without strain. The preservation of our muscles is very important because after 30 years of age 3 kg of muscle is lost.

Result: The reduction of muscle power leads to a slow atrophy of the muscle, which is strengthened after the 40 years af age.
